İstanbul'da her yer kırmızı beyaza büründü. 100. yıla özel olarak İstanbul Boğazı'ndan Türk donanmasına ait gemiler, uçaklar ve denizaltılar geçti ve halk coşkuyla karşıladı. Akşam İstanbul Boğazı havai fişeklerle aydınlandı.
In Istanbul, people took to the streets to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. Everything in Istanbul was covered in red and white. Specially for the 100th anniversary, ships, planes and submarines of the Turkish navy passed through the Bosphorus and the public welcomed them with enthusiasm. In the evening, the Bosphorus was illuminated with fireworks.
